In Our Search for Meaning
For the whole of this century, we have known
Before that even. Many knew
Earth needed something from us,
But she didn’t get it.
Since 1886, 1950, 1970 we’ve known.
This thing that Earth needs so desperately
The main ingredient is love—focused attention.
Like parents to children, us to Earth. Reciprocity.
The missing ingredient for Oneness:
Earth needs our consciousness to merge with hers.
We’re being pushed through great resistance
But separation is killing us both.
Deep listening is one answer.
Cultural and ecosystem regeneration is another.
Find your kindred spirits, local-local
Ask them if they are collapse aware.
